Blue Noses


Ends Today the International Fair of Contemporary Art in Madrid, "Arc 2011", which had its doors open to the public since Wednesday. Hitching a ride from the media frenzy of heterogeneity provided by guest artists in the country - Russia - the international press chose to highlight the work of the group Blue Noses, from its "Red Iconostasis.

The project, first presented in Moscow at M & J Guelman Gallery - under the name "Proletarian Conceptualism" - would mark the presence in Paris, In Situ Gallery ( "A la Russe" ) by the end of July 2010, lampooning the icons of the Soviet legacy.

Dual Blue Noses is formed by the architect and artist Viacheslav Mizin Shaburov Alexander, who formed the collective in 1999. That same year, significantly, the first public appearance could not be more challenging: "The Crazy Double. imbecility in the Strategy of Contemporary Art" (Imbecility Strategy in Contemporary Art.)
