For Young Kyu Yoo, the forms are interrelated, either by contrast or integration. What we see reflected on the other side, as if the mirror itself, depending, according to the Korean photographer, the cultural references that we add to our life project.


A series of shapes Combine "reveals a sequence of photographs that the artist has decided to perpetuate through the refresher of the concept of" mental mirror "that gives shape to the project. Young Kyu Yoo lives and works in Brooklyn, New York, since 2005.









"Combine of shapes," according to Young Kyu Yoo, "Shapes, lines, directions and movements from all sources, starting with me, are constantly on the combination and contrast multiple dimensions, through my own visual vocabulary. What I want is to invoke mirror effects, interactions of lines and shapes and sometimes the very unruled through the fourth dimension.


"I try to expose the logic that is parallel or sequential free time and in abstract terms. These lines and shapes represent several people with whom I had some kind of contact over the years, people who may have a common interest in areas such as fashion and culture, which experienced the same phenomenon in different ways.
