I love to help tourists, they are stopped on the street corner with a map of the city of Montreal to find an attraction or in which direction to go. In these cases, I hasten to visit them to show them their way. I offer my help to also take pictures when they are many and there are always taking pictures and, thereby, will not be on most of them. Because we all know, it's still the same person who got the camera and posing others. It is my particular case, since I much prefer being behind the camera than in front. Changing the subject, I think I've already said that the public contact I miss enormously. It is a job description that is not part of my current job. While I love what I do, I liked the customer service even if it is not always easy to work with different people. There are some who are super nice and friendly (I would say the vast majority), but for those who look stupid in length day, we could well do without, for cons, we can not know what they live.
With that, back on topic, I wonder if, when you encounter a tourist in your town, do you come to visit them for help or if you miss them without say? When you go on vacation, do you like to get help from local or if you prefer to manage on your own (e)?
